A great site to explore Zone Nutrition

Before the the Zone / Balanced Nutrition
March 2003
Zone-ware was established as a parent company in 2004. I am a living testimony to the power of balanced nutrition. In an effort to assist others on a successful journey to living a healthier lifestyle, I formed Zone-Ware.com.
We often allow life to happen to us without fully understanding the outcomes of our choices. We just accept what happens. We cannot change our past. Some of us have been hurt as children, either emotionally or physically and have covered up those wounds by suppressing the feelings of anger and pain. Some of us face extraordinary trials throughout life. Some of us suppress the anger and pain by allowing ourselves to be comforted by food. Food doesn't leave, or hit, or say mean things. Food doesn't die or get sick.
I know because I was there, being both a wounded child and facing many life's trials. In March of 2003 I weighed 325 pounds. I knew that my weight was destroying me. I have been playing the diet game all my life, losing 20 pounds, gaining 50.
I saw a blurb about the Zone while channel surfing one day. It made sense to me. My husband was out of town, so I decided it would be a great time to try this program. I bought A Week in the Zone and read it from cover to cover without stopping. It made MORE sense to me! I stocked up my fridge and began a journey that has changed my life. Within a week or two, I noticed positive changes in the way I felt as well as how my clothes were fitting. I did a web search and found FormulaZone.com, looked it over and decided it was the perfect site to compliment the Zone lifestyle. That was March of 2003…
Today….. I am a new person. I now weigh 160 pounds. Aside from all the benefits the Zone has provided me like increased energy, improved health, mental focus and clarity, and weight loss, it has also sent me on an incredible journey into self-actualization.
Over the course of my journey, I have come to realize why I became a compulsive eater, have come to terms with why, and have overcome those issues, enabling me to move on. I have set some new goals for myself. I have already met several and have no doubt I will reach the others. I have become a Certified Zone Instructor, I have published a children's cookbook, and I will teach a Community College course in balanced nutrition this fall. My "To Do" list presently includes writing some grants for balanced nutrition research, two more cookbooks in the works, and getting a website for balanced nutrition up and running. I am also developing a line of Zone-related products. I still face challenges, as we all do, but I face them with a positive attitude.
…I smile a lot…I feel great….I want to help others along their journey.
I have been blessed to cross paths with FormulaZone and the wonderful webmaster who has supported me, answered my questions, held me accountable, and provided a space where I could meet success in the Zone. I could not be where I am today were it not for FormulaZone.com.
My journey will never end…you see, it's not the end result that matters really, it's what you do and who you meet along the way that makes the difference.
Thanks Cale!
